About the Role:

The SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant plays a key role in analyzing, designing, and implementing materials management processes. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to improve procurement and inventory operations. You will also configure SAP S/4HANA MM modules and ensure smooth integration with other SAP areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and document procurement and inventory requirements.
  • Review current processes and identify gaps that SAP S/4HANA MM can improve.

2. Solution Design and Implementation

  • Configure SAP S/4HANA MM modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, Vendor Master Data, and Invoice Verification.
  • Create functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Support or lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and data migrations aligned with business goals.

3. Testing and Validation

  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify issues, support fixes, and ensure system stability.

4. Training and Support

  • Conduct user training and prepare clear documentation for SAP MM processes.
  • Provide ongoing support by troubleshooting issues after system go-live.

5. Project Collaboration

  • Assist in planning and delivering MM-related project tasks.
  • Work closely with other SAP consultants (e.g., SD, FICO) for smooth cross-module integration.
  • Support pre-sales activities when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM implementation and support
  • Experience in full-cycle SAP S/4HANA projects is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of procurement (P2P), inventory management, and materials planning
  • Experience with SAP Grow/RISE is an advantage
  • Proficient in SAP S/4HANA MM configuration and customization
